Identity is never complete — it is constantly changing.

Ukrainian society is undergoing profound transformations. Today, as we face unprecedented challenges, usual views change, old beliefs collapse, and familiar landmarks blur — opening space for new values.

Our Association unites Ukrainian innovators and visionaries — people who are creating a better reality and shaping a positive image of Ukraine on the global stage. At this crucial moment, we feel a deep responsibility for the ideas and meanings that will shape the new Ukrainian identity.

To foster this dialogue, Diia.City United is launching Future Horizons 2025 — a series of events dedicated to reflecting on and discussing the complexities of Ukrainian identity. Designed exclusively for Diia.City United members, these gatherings will explore the cultural, social, and technological transformations that will drive the development of our society and economy.

Together with Natalia Kryvda, Doctor of Philosophy and Professor at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, we will dive into an exciting journey to rethink Ukrainian identity and its role in shaping a successful future.

The four unique events of the FutureHorizons 2025 series will take place in very special places far not associated with traditional business settings. We believe that entering an unusual environment promotes deeper participant interaction and enriches the experience of exploring new ideas.

On April 3, the Diia.City United community – successful entrepreneurs, experts, and thought leaders – will come together for a one-of-a-kind cultural experience at the first Future Horizons 2025 event.

In a historic landmark with a centuries-old legacy, Professor Natalia Kryvda, one of Ukraine’s leading researchers on society and identity, will present her thought-provoking lecture “Identity Through the Resilience Lens”.

Together we will catch up for the unlearned lessons of Ukrainian history and culture, and try to look at ourselves from a new angle — without the myths and false stereotypes imposed by the enemy.

What to expect:

  • 17:00-17:15 –  Guest arrival and gathering
  • 17:20-18:20 – Identity Through the Lens of Resilience: lecture by Natalia Kryvda covering relevant business issues :
    • How do national values shape corporate culture?
    • How is cultural identity related to the quality of human capital?
  • 18:30-19:10 – Guided Tour of the Venue
Exploring this historic space, critically examining key locations, architectural landmarks, and notable personalities associated with it. Together, we will rethink the space’s cultural significance and return it to the context of Ukrainian heritage.
  • 19:10-20:00 – Networking & Open Discussion
Free conversation, idea exchange, and reflection after the main program.
  • Post-Event: A list of recommended materials to deepen your understanding of identity and social transformation concepts.

Important: For security reasons, we will inform only registered participants about the event location.

❗ The event will be held offline. No online streaming is planned

Brainstorming and Collective Research

Starting with the second event of the Future Horizons 2025 series, we will conclude each meeting with a thematic brainstorming session. This will enhance the assimilation of key ideas, facilitate reflection, and help consolidate new knowledge. Throughout four meetings, our collective discussions will shape research based on Natalia Kryvda’s concept, providing a foundation for further research on cultural identities in the contemporary world.
