Join us for a Q&A session with Sacha Michaud, co-founder of Glovo – one of Europe’s most successful tech startups. Over the past decade, Glovo has grown from a local idea into a global business, with a €2.3B exit and operations in over 1,800 cities across 23 countries.

Ukraine is one of Glovo’s largest markets in Central and Eastern Europe. The company has been operating here since 2018, investing over €120 million into local development – infrastructure, teams, and technology. Sacha is the first international member of the Diia.City United Strategic Board.

This Q&A is a rare opportunity to engage with an entrepreneur who not only scaled a unicorn, but also co-founded the venture fund Yellow VC and is a member of the global Endeavor Entrepreneurs network. Sacha is coming to Kyiv to share his journey and insights with the Ukrainian tech community.

What we’ll discuss:

From startup to unicorn and exit: What does it take to build a company that can compete globally?
Why Ukraine matters: How Glovo is investing, adapting during wartime, and what’s ahead.
Entrepreneurship as a force for change: Lessons from Endeavor and building Yellow VC.
Backing Ukraine’s tech sector: How international players can empower local innovation.
The entrepreneur’s role during wartime: What really matters — and how to help in meaningful, lasting ways.

Sacha Michaud is a serial entrepreneur who understands how to scale across complex regulatory markets, why company culture matters, and how global businesses can build with local teams as equals.

The Q&A will be held in a closed format with a live online stream.
You can join either in person or online (registration required). Online participants will also be able to submit their questions during the session.

The location for in-person attendees will be shared with confirmed participants closer to the event date.
Seats are limited — priority will be given to Diia.City United member companies.

The event will be held in English.

Event partner – Endeavor.
