• GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • This Cookie Policy (hereinafter – the “Policy”) defines the procedure for the use of cookies and similar technologies by the PUBLIC UNION “ASSOCIATION OF DIІA CITY RESIDENTS” (hereinafter – the “Business Association”) during the operation of the Business Association’s website available at: https://diiacityunited.org/ (hereinafter – the “Website”).
  • This Policy also applies where users interact with the Business Association’s content through integrated services, plugins, or analytical and marketing tools related to the operation of the Website.
  • The use of cookies is carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy Directive).
  • This Policy shall be applied in conjunction with the Business Association’s Personal Data Protection Policy and does not constitute a standalone document governing personal data processing.

  • User – a natural person who visits the Website and/or uses its functionality.
  • Cookies – small text files stored on the User’s device when visiting the Website and used to ensure its proper functioning, analytics, and marketing purposes.

  • Through the forms on the Website, the Business Association may collect the following personal data on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, namely:

  • email address;
  • phone number;
  • message content;
  • IP address;
  • date and time of submission.
  • The provision of such data is carried out exclusively based on the User’s consent, by actively selecting the relevant checkbox in the form.


  • CONSENT TO THE USE OF COOKIES

  • Upon the first visit to the Website, the User is presented with a cookie banner allowing them to:

  • withdraw consent;
  • refuse non-essential cookies;
  • configure cookie settings;
  • delete cookies via browser settings.

  • The Director of the Business Association bears overall responsibility for compliance with this Policy and for the use of cookies.


  • THIRD PARTIES AND INTEGRATED SERVICES

  • Due to the integration of certain services on the Website, cookies may be set by the following third parties:
  • Google LLC (Google Ads, Google services);
  • Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook Pixel);
  • YouTube LLC (embedded videos);
  • DoubleClick (Google advertising services).
  • Such third parties may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
  • The processing of cookies by third parties may take place outside Ukraine and the European Business Association and is carried out based on Standard Contractual Clauses or other transfer mechanisms provided for by the GDPR.
  • The Business Association may also maintain official pages on social media and other digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram, YouTube, etc.). Accessing such platforms and using their services is governed by the respective companies’ policies, and the Business Association does not control the placement of cookies on such third-party resources.

 

  • FINAL PROVISIONS

  • This Policy enters into force on the date of its approval.
  • The Policy shall be reviewed in case of legislative changes or substantial changes in the Business Association’s activities.
  • This Policy is an internal document of the Business Association and shall be applied in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine.
