Our First Milestone! Exactly six months ago, we launched Diia.City United to tech businesses and partners. Since then, the association has grown and taken numerous significant steps to advance the tech industry in Ukraine. All of this was achieved thanks to our collaboration with you. Here’s a quick overview of our key achievements in the first six months:

  • 60+ Member Companies are collaborating to create business space for tech companies to scale globally from Ukraine.
  • 13 Top Tech Entrepreneurs on the Strategic Board united in our intellectual powerhouse to set strategic goals and define development directions for our association.
  • Identified the State and Needs of the Tech Industry.
    A joint study by Diia.City United and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, conducted by Advanter Group, clearly identified the state, needs, priorities, and challenges of the industry, as well as satisfaction with the Diia.City tax and legal space.
  • Driven 20+ Legislative Initiatives for the Tech Industry.
    These include initiatives like e-Reservation, Draft Law No. 9319 amending the Diia.City Law, the State Tax Service information letter, the Bureau of Economic Security reform, and proposals for alternative state budget funding against Draft Law No. 11416. We work together to stop or change harmful initiatives for the industry, particularly the unjustified tax increases for businesses during the war.

  • Launched 7 Streams and Task Forces.
    Participants unite in our taskforces, hubs, and collectives to collaborate on key areas like legal issues and taxes, mobilization and employee reservations, human capital, attracting funding (investments and grants), domestic market, and Ukrainian software products and services, defense tech.
  • Organized and Supported 20+ Events.
    Including 8 of our own events and 13 in partnership with others. Every month, we host exclusive events featuring founders and CEOs of tech businesses, government representatives, and international partners. We also partner with initiatives for quality changes in the tech sector and bring in top global tech leaders and speakers.
