We’re thrilled to announce that Serhiy Hryshkov, CEO of Ukrainian ride-hailing company Uklon, has joined Diia.City United‘s Strategic Board as its 21st member. His extensive expertise in mobility, ride-hailing, logistics, and fintech — combined with a proven international expansion track record — brings significant value to our tech community.

A Proven Product Leader

Serhiy has spent over a decade building and scaling products across Logistics & Delivery, FinTech, and Mobility sectors. His journey at Uklon tells a compelling growth story: rising from Head of Product to CEO in just three years, taking the company’s helm in 2023. Under his leadership, Uklon not only recovered from wartime disruptions but exceeded pre-war performance metrics.

Today’s Uklon operates far beyond traditional ride-hailing. The company has evolved into a comprehensive digital ecosystem, encompassing Uklon Delivery, B2B transportation solutions, and the Uklon Ads advertising platform.

With over 800 team members, including 250 software engineers continuously enhancing the technology platform, Uklon maintains its position as Ukraine’s market leader across 27 cities, while expanding internationally.

The company’s success story extends beyond Ukrainian borders. After two years of development in Uzbekistan, Uklon secured second place in that local market, demonstrating the scalability of their tech platform.

In April 2025, Kyivstar became Uklon’s strategic investor, opening new opportunities for ecosystem development and enhanced mobility services throughout Ukraine.

Vision for Global Tech Integration

Serhiy brings an ambitious perspective on Ukraine’s role in the global technology landscape:

Ukrainian products and services have repeatedly proven they can compete with and often outperform international giants. I’m optimistic about expanding our technology platform to new regions and actively support integrating Ukrainian mobility, fintech, and e-commerce services into European and global ecosystems.

He also emphasized the strategic importance of Ukraine’s emerging defence-tech industry, seeing it as both a critical defence component and a promising economic and technological sector on the world stage.

Strategic Board Impact

For Serhiy, joining our Association’s Strategic Board represents an opportunity to collaborate with Ukraine’s top technology leaders while shaping the country’s product ecosystem development.

This creates an excellent space for protecting, developing, and implementing shared ideas among active members of Ukraine’s tech community. During these challenging times of full-scale war, we must seek unity and work together to advance Ukrainian products and services, — Serhiy explains.

Beyond Business: Social Impact

Uklon’s success extends well beyond financial metrics. The company exemplifies Ukrainian tech businesses’ commitment to social responsibility, investing over 200 million hryvnias in supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteer initiatives, and charitable causes since the war began.

The company focuses on two primary CSR tracks: humanitarian efforts through programs like Uklon Volunteer, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, and veteran support; plus defense-oriented initiatives including fundraising for Defense Forces and integrated donation features within the Uklon app.
