On July 10th, during the official program of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome, a milestone moment unfolded for Ukraine’s tech industry:

Investment group MITS Capital invested $3.74 million in Ukrainian defense tech company Tencore — marking the first time an international fund has invested directly in Ukrainian jurisdiction.

Both MITS Capital and Tencore are members of our Association. We couldn’t be prouder!

This groundbreaking deal became possible thanks to Diia.City, which made venture investment mechanisms accessible to residents of the ecosystem.

Our Association facilitated this investment from inception to completion. Our team arranged successful deal closure within Ukraine’s regulatory environment. The official signing ceremony occurred at Diia.City United’s defense tech workshop during URC 2025.

This isn’t just another successful case. This deal embodies one of Diia.City United’s key missions: we collaborate to ensure tech enterprises are founded, scaled, and funded right here in Ukraine.

We aim to establish an environment where international capital attraction becomes standard practice rather than exclusion for Ukraine’s technology sector. Our goal is to create conditions where attracting foreign investment becomes not an exception, but a systematic practice for Ukraine’s tech market.

At the same time, the investment in Tencore holds significant strategic value. The company produces TerMIT robotic logistics platforms that already help our defenders on the front lines — from evacuating wounded soldiers to delivering ammunition — their technology has proven its versatility and effectiveness in combat actions.

The raised funds will go toward scaling R&D and expanding production capacity, which is critically important for strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

MITS Capital‘s direct Tencore investment establishes a benchmark showcasing Diia.City’s effectiveness as a secure foreign capital attraction platform.

This is why we consistently support, defend, and develop the Diia.City ecosystem: so that tech businesses from Ukraine get access to global capital and grow internationally.

The success of this deal proves that systematic and persistent dialogue with the state bears fruit, and coordinated efforts transform ambitious goals into real achievements. That’s a huge progress for our entire industry!

This public signing sends a clear signal to the world: Ukrainian technology investments offer both security and profitability, demonstrating Ukraine’s capacity as a reliable partner even in the most challenging times.

This is our shared victory: for businesses united around shared objectives, the government responsive to industry needs, and stakeholders committed to Ukraine’s future.

Diia.City United remains dedicated to having more such success stories emerge in Ukraine.
