On June 3, five brave tech startup founders took the stage at our FutureTech Meetup labelled Artificial Intelligence: Future in a New Reality five AI-startups conquered for $2,000 and exclusive one-on-one sessions with top industry experts.

The Expert Panel

This time, the pitches were judged by:

  • Roman Prokofiev, co-founder of Jooble and member of Diia.City United’s Strategic Board
  • Marianna Bonechi, Managing Partner at Dnipro VC, joining from Silicon Valley
  • Petro Sovyak-Krukovskyy, Investment Director at Vesna Capital

Each judge brought unique expertise in evaluating Ukrainian startups, with particular focus on AI innovations and scalability potential.

Five Startups, Five AI Stories

Pronomy: AI Agents for SMBs

Oleksii Lyaskovskiy presented Pronomy, offering to save small and medium-sized businesses from drowning in customer support messages. Their AI agents handle the complex customer tasks and know when to pass things to humans.

The startup founder emphasised their partnership strategy with integrators and their  intention to enter the US market through Canadian connections.

Though judges challenged the founder on differentiation. Roman Prokofiev noted:

It can be a good strategy for local markets. But entering a competitive global market without a unique product is challenging from an investor’s perspective.

xTyles: From AI Chat to Structured Projects

Maxim Kachur showcased xTyles, an online workspace that converts AI chat conversations into structured visual projects.

With 1 million users and 65% paid subscribers from the US market, the startup demonstrated impressive traction.

However, the judges questioned whether AI was truly core to the product. Roman Prokofiev saw right through the AI hype:

“This isn’t an AI startup — it’s a workspace product with AI features. Your innovation is in UX, not AI. Don’t try to sell it to investors as an AI-first company when your real value lies elsewhere.”

Tayra AI: Transforming Healthcare Documentation

The eventual winner, Tayra AI, presented by Yulia Tychinskaya, tackles the administrative burden on healthcare professionals.

Their AI-powered medical note-taker transcribes doctor–patient conversations directly into electronic health records, saving doctors significant time while improving accuracy.

The startup is already piloting with Ukraine’s largest clinics and plans to serve 2,000 doctors soon.

Marianna Bonechi raised critical questions about data privacy and liability:

Working with personal medical data is extremely sensitive. Technical errors in healthcare can be dangerous.

This question led to a deep discussion about how the system integrates with existing medical information systems without storing sensitive audio data.

Revisior: AI-Powered Customer Experience Management

Serhiy Shapirenko presented Revisior, tackling a critical business challenge: one-third of customers stop working with a company after just one negative experience, and 90% leave after two or three bad interactions.

His startup aggregates customer feedback from all communication channels into a single dashboard with AI-powered analytics and recommendations.

Serhiy shared their vision short:

Feedback means nothing if you don’t act on it.

Revisior AI assistant helps businesses respond to complaints immediately, providing shared step-by-step guidance for resolution. The platform has already helped process 15 million reviews and 4 million complaints for over 100 brands.

Serhiy revealed a principled approach: Ukrainian state companies like Ukrzaliznytsia receive the service for free.

The startup, founded in 2022, currently generates $20,000 MRR and aims to reach $70,000 within 10 months after investment.

RoutineWith: Making Fitness Safer

Natalia Kryvych closed the session with RoutineViz, born from personal experience with sports injuries.

The platform helps fitness coaches manage their business while using AI to analyse client movements during online sessions, preventing injuries.

The judges appreciated the clear problem-solution fit but questioned for the technical implementation and market readiness.

Roman’s feedback was practical:

It would be useful to provide more data about competitors and alternatives. How do other products solve the same problems coaches face today?

Key Investor Insights

Throughout the sessions, several critical themes emerged:

  • Revenue Clarity Matters

Investors demand clear, consistent financial data. Confusion over metrics like ARR can undermine credibility.

  • Market Differentiation is Crucial

Marianna Bonechi pressed founders on their unique value propositions, especially in crowded markets. “There are thousands of companies like you,” she noted during Pronomy’s pitch.

  • Regulatory Compliance is a Must

Especially for healthcare and data-sensitive applications, understanding of compliance and liability issues proved essential.

  • Technical Depth Requires Explanation

For AI-heavy solutions, judges wanted to understand the technical implementation. “How did you train your dataset?” became a recurring question.

And The Winners Are…

– 3rd place: Revisior — for their comprehensive approach to customer experience.

– 2nd place: Pronomy — despite criticism, showing potential in the SMB market.

– 1st place: Tayra AI — got $2,000  for a validated approach to revolutionising medical documentation.

The top three didn’t just get money — they scored one-on-one mentorship sessions with industry heavyweights: Hanna Shuvalova (Horizon Capital), Leonid Podobedov (Hi-Fi Ventures), and Marianna Bonechi (Dnipro VC).
